About Montessori Ronda
We are an International Private Teaching School authorized by the Junta de Andalucía for the Infant and Primary stages. We offer personalized and comprehensive education to children up to 12 years old with the Montessori methodology in a natural environment.
Our project was born from a group of families and educators who are committed to education for life. This group has been working for years to consolidate the project and offer an education based on Montessori pedagogy in our region.
We resonate with the philosophy and methodology of Maria Montessori because we offer a space prepared for the child and the accompaniment of a teacher, whom we call a guide, in small groups, which gives the child the possibility of discovering and learning at their own pace and from their own interest, developing their full potential.

Children’s home
From 3 to 6 years old. INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT.
It stands out as a period of self-construction and adaptation. At this level, we speak of the potential of the absorbing mind.
There is a greater consolidation and perfection between 3 and 6 years of age. We speak of a conscious mind because the child’s mind becomes aware and does so through movement.
Primary stage
From 6 TO 12 YEARS. COSMIC EDUCATION.
Childhood, a period of more excellent stability, occurs from 6 to 12 years of age. It is a stage in which:
- The capacity to imagine awakens.
- The moral sense awakens.
- There is a desire to expand both the family and the school environment.
- Children are interested in their peers and understand the world around them.
- They ask questions such as: Who am I, where do I come from, and where does everything created come from?
Within this stage, there are two sub-groups:
– Workshop I from 6 to 9 years old.
– Workshop II from 9 to 11 years old.

Our Methodology
Our methodology, rooted in the Montessori Philosophy in Early Years, is based on a unique educational offer underpinned by a strong focus on developing independence that focuses on each student’s ability to choose their academic path confidently.
The role of the teacher
The role of the teacher or guide is a strong pillar of Montessori pedagogy. It requires a special preparation, occupying a very different place from what is traditionally known.
Sensitive periods
When we watch a child grow and see how they develop, the physical changes are easily perceptible to us; it is a growth we follow daily. On the other hand, the parallel development that takes place on a psychological level is much more difficult for us to grasp with the naked eye; it is hidden within.

Heather Teysko23/06/2021Our daughter loves her experience at this school. The guides are so caring, she is learning so much, she loves going to school, and we love the teaching philosophy. We love having an alternative to the public schools, which simply follow a national curriculum without much consideration of what the child's needs are. Here they basically put together a custom curriculum based on your child. It's a wonderful place.

Yareri Aguilar18/06/2021Estamos encantados de encontrar una escuela que su valor principal es el respeto en todos los sentidos, ademas de sentirnos súper seguros de como han gestionado las normas de seguridad de los niños dentro de las normativas de COVID. Un lugar precioso para aprender desde un acompañamiento amable de todo el equipo además las madres y padres son también bastante respetuosos.
Ana Real Tovar18/06/2021Conozco este estupendo centro desde hace años y está autorizado por la Junta de Andalucía. Sigue la metodología Montessori y respeta los ritmos de todo el alumnado. Unas instalaciones estupendas en un marco maravilloso que permite que el alumnado esté en contacto con la naturaleza. Me consta que sigue todas las medidas COVID y que las personas a cargo son excelentes profesionales y personas. Ojalá viviéramos cerca para poder llevar a nuestras hijas allí.
Moni Valle18/06/2021Lugar maravilloso de VIDA.No es escuela infantil, es Centro Educativo aunque no se publique en cada esquina. Está en medio de...la Naturaleza, del contacto con la tierra...se respira vida por cada rincón. Y hay niños corriendo y gritando, jajajaja como dice el "caballero del comentario absurdo"..son niños haciendo de niños FELICES, no están "atados",lo sentimos. Ojalá hubiera muchos lugares así en el mundo y muchos niños disfrutando de ellos!! Feliz día!!!
Jonathan Teysko18/06/2021Our daughter is so happy at this school. She was in public school in Ronda for 2 years and got along alright. For various reasons we thought we would try the Montessori school and we haven't looked back. We're all so thankful this school exists. Our daughter's school options are quite limited here compared to what we had available in the States, so when we learned there was a place for her to go with a different brand of learning and someone who spoke even a little English we were thrilled. She has been here for 2 years now. We love every little bit about the school, the teachers (guides they call them), the other kids, the other parents, the location, the space to play outside, the learning materials, the extras (yoga, swimming pool trips, field trips, etc). We couldn't ask for anything more. ❤️
Ester Jiménez Yorno18/06/2021La mejor oportunidad de nuestra vida surgio cuando conocimos este espacio y al equipo HUMANO que hay detras. Un lugar maravilloso donde como padres nos sentimos en total confianza de dejar a nuestro hijo, porque sabemos que tiene el mejor acompañamiento posible. Porque fomentan su autonomía, la gestión de las emociones, el respeto por la naturaleza, porque se basan en sus intereses y en que él vaya marcando el ritmo, mientras aprenden muchísimas areas de conocimiento de manera manipulativa. Un lugar donde los niños y niñas pueden ser eso, niños y niñas con las necesidades propias de sus edades cubiertas. Con una atención y un acompañamiento impecable. No puedo mas que daros las gracias una y mil veces ^^
